The Editors

Kira Takeshita is a graduate from UC Berkeley with a degree in film studies.  She works full time with SIMZ as lead editor. She began as an intern for SIMZ in 2007 and quickly became attuned to the energetic and tightly integrated approach to every production. Kira also minored in English and brings a love of literature and verbal clarity. She frequently proof-checks scripts or other administrative literature for Leslie. Kira enjoys her part in creating elegant and eye-catching videos with a strong and clear message.

 

 

Mark Howlett was born in Perth, Australia. He went on an around the world trip when he was 19, for a year and a half. Staying in South America, USA, Europe and South Africa, he came back to Perth and started studying Communications with a major in Film and Video at Edith Cowan University in Perth. For his final year, he decided to hit the road again, and enrolled in the international student exchange program  at Sacramento State, where he has graduated.  He loves editing and filming and wants to learn all that he can within these fields.
